I notice that the "make a new friend" feature is currently being re-written, and that the quicknote history is currently unavailable. While I never used make a new friend, and have rarely used qn history, although this is useful if you have to log out and in to check if someone messaged you and you missed it, I was wondering if these features will be returning any time, especially qn history as this is a premium feature and therefore premium members are paying for a featur they cannot use, or whether something will replace it?

Rewritten means it is being done over to work more effectively.

Claire, having spoken to Chris N about this, Premium quick note history had to be taken down because it was seriously crashing the site. He's not sure if 1 person is able to make the site go slow by using the feature or if it's several people at once. He decided it was best to take it out for the time being to allow the rest of the site to function propperly. I believe it will be back when he's had time to do some testing to find out exactly what is causing the problem so it can be fixed. Make a new friend was also so slow that it was decided until it can be made more functional it should be taken down. I believe it will be back or something similar. Both admins have been working harder recently to get the site working better with more features, so we just have to be patient.

Thanks for looking into that Kevin. I will miss quicknote history though.
